A Victorian era Heirloom variety. Bright scarlet flowers with dark blue-green foliage. The plants are compact are are great for any type of planting; bedding, baskets, edging and window boxes. Some refer to it as garden nasturtium and Indian cress. Both the leaves and flowers are edible, (peppery flavor) making a colorful garnish for salads and formal meals. Flowers may be suffed as well.
